Your audio stays in your browser.
This page describes the current FIELDNOTE tool and the advertising planned for the site.
Last updated: October 25, 2026
Audio files and conversions
When you choose a supported MP3 or WAV file and convert it, your browser reads and analyzes the file on your device. The selected audio is not uploaded to FIELDNOTE or another server. When conversion begins, your browser may download the site’s model files from this website; those files are used locally by the browser. The tool does not require an account and does not save a conversion history.
Site delivery
This static website is hosted through Cloudflare. Like other website hosts, Cloudflare may process technical request information to deliver and protect the site under its own policies. The tool’s conversion code does not send the selected audio file or extracted audio features to the host.
Planned advertising
We plan to add third-party advertising to this site. Advertising is not integrated in the current version. When it is added, advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies and process information as described in their own privacy notices. This policy will be updated to identify the advertising services before they are enabled.
